La Rosa Negra Mexican Restaurant In Barcelona
In Barcelona, you’ll find La Rosa Negra, two Mexican restaurants located in the city’s most emblematic neighborhoods: Raval and Via Laietana. We offer Mexican cuisine full of color, flavor, and rhythm, with tacos, margaritas, Mexican beers, and dishes to share. Vinyl records, crafts, and Mexican-inspired design give personality to a welcoming, festive space full of details.

Mexican Cuisine and Cocktails in Barcelona
Our cuisine is Mexican with Californian influences, a Cal-Mex style that combines tradition and freshness. The idea originated with Eric Otto, who has ties to both Mexico and California, and who wanted to bring a flavorful, accessible, and joyful Mexican food concept to Barcelona almost twenty years ago.
The interior design of our restaurants is the work of Lorena Zertuche, an artist originally from Guadalajara. The decor, featuring Mexican pieces and handicrafts, vibrant colors, and cultural details, creates a festive atmosphere that reflects the character of our cuisine and the energy of La Rosa Negra.
One of our signature elements is our cocktails. We craft mojitos and margaritas in Barcelona with fresh ingredients: mint picked daily, freshly squeezed lime juice, and expertly prepared by our bar team. We also offer Mexican beers and cocktails that perfectly complement our tacos and other Mexican dishes.
Our Menu
At La Rosa Negra, you’ll find a Mexican menu featuring tacos, nachos, burritos, quesadillas, margaritas, micheladas, and Mexican beers. We also offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, so everyone can enjoy their meal. All our dishes are prepared daily with fresh ingredients and authentic Mexican flavor.
