Founded by Eric Otto with the opening of Rosa Negra Laietana in 2004, the company now extends beyond the walls of its eateries to Rosa Negra Raval and Bunbo Barcelona.
FOOD: The cuisine is Mexican with a touch of California, or Cal-Mex. It was here that Eric Otto, a native of both places, got the idea to bring tasty, cheap and cheerful Mexican food to Barcelona nearly 20 years ago.
INTERIOR: The festive interior is created and designed by Gaudalajara native and artist Lorena Zertuche. All brightly coloured items that decorate the walls are authentic from Mexico and reflect the exciting mood and party feeling of the restaurant.
COCKTAILS: No one does Mojitos in Barcelona like Rosa Negra. Real mint is picked from the stem daily along with freshly squeezed lime juice and handmade perfection from our fabulous bar staff. And then there’s the price. Can´t be beaten for mojito or margarita cocktails in Barcelona.
